Grandma's New Summer Toy

Every summer we end up getting a new water toy, this year we got a water tower. It has been fun for all ages (Tyson). Monte, Jude, and Maile had a blast on it Saturday, seeing how fast they could slide down and get back up. And Jared, and Bryce did a timed obstacle coarse, and apparently Bryce needs to work on his victory dance a bit. And on Sunday Ty aired it up to see how it would work for him, but found that it needed to have water in the bottom pool to hold it down, or else you tip over when your on the top of the tower. Now we know. We hope to get a whole summer out of it, which is a streach for our toys for some reason (Tyson).

And Yet Another Birthday Week! Amazing!

It has only been a week since our last Birthday week, and already we have another one! And yet the phenomenon continues. Leading off this week is Tome, with a June 15th Birthday, turning a young 32. Then in the middle of a sister sandwich is Torr on the 19th, who is one year away from being able to rent a car at 24. Last but not least, rounding off the week is Summer, on the 21st, nearing the end of her 20's, turning 28. So congrats, and Happy Birthday!

And The Winner Is...

By a landslide, with 57% of the vote, Ace is the clear winner for the the new guy's name. There were several comments on the pole, all the way from "Are those all the names to choose from?", to "I'm diggin' Ace, that is a sweet name". But no matter what you thought about all the names, if you didn't vote for Ace, you lost.

Another Birthday Week!

We have a phenomenon that occurs in the George Family, and that is that hardly any of the Birthdays can be spread out, we have 4 groups of 3 Birthdays within the same week, and we have on of those this week. Haylee, our newest addition to the family was born on Tuesday, May 27, and has her actual Birthday. Then there is Ricky, who has his Birthday today, May 30, and turns a young 30 something. Then to round off the week, Jared, the oldest of the grandchildren, starts his driving lessons with his 15th Birthday on Tuesday, June 3rd. So Happy Birthday to all 3!!!

Introducing Haylee George, born on May 27 2008, at 4:55PM. Weighing in as the lightest one so far at 6lbs, 10oz, and 19 inches long. Congrats Torr and Emily Jane!
